It's just a few more days before the big day and I am kinda stressed but really really excited.
The preparation itself is something to thank God for because I have seen how He has used a lot of people to be a blessing to me and my husband-to-be.
Pao is the one who should be managing this blog because I am no good at writing but I just have to write my thanksgivings here :) The Lord deserves to be praised!
I thank Him for our parents: Mommy and Daddy, Mamadear and Papadear for saying yes and supporting us in every possible way. Your prayers and your reassuring messages mean a lot to us.
There have been times when we just wanted to call it quits (why go through the difficulty of preparing when you know that what comes after is even more difficult ;p) The stress of organizing everything sometimes had taken its toll on our relationship. Without the people who prayed for us, counseled us, there would be no wedding and married life to look forward to. The LORD is simply amazing, He provided us with such wise Ninongs and Ninangs who were there to pray for us, even rebuke us and are more than willing to share their life with us.
I am also grateful to the rest of the entourage who are eager to take up their roles as helpers of the bride and groom. The time you spent tying the ribbons for the invitations, cutting the edges, folding the paper.. (thank you also to the wonderful women from church who did not hesitate to help), the time you spent just being there for me is something I really treasure.
To my DCBC family, thank you. I experience God's grace and love through you. You haven't just been praying for us but you have been devoting your precious time, gladly sharing your resources with us.Oh how I am experiencing God's overflowing blessings through this family!
To my other friends (coworkers, SVCF, high school, childhood friends), thank you so much. I pray that I could also be a blessing to you in one way or another (and hopefully, for those who are still single, on your own weddings too :)
I have never imagined that this could be such a wonderful journey. I know it would be a day filled with happy tears.

Bridal Shower
Thank you so much to all the wonderful ladies who came to celebrate my bridal shower :)
I felt sooo loved with all the delicious dishes you prepared (my favorites: sushi, green salad, "gourmet" kare-kare, milk tea, ice cream, cookies and brownies). I was overwhelmed by all the presents you showered me with. I actually started using some of them, some gifts are reserved for later *wink wink*
Thank you even for the wise counsel you gave. I believe the single ladies who were present even benefited much!
